Genshin Impact: 2,250 Primogems Incoming! Major May Updates Summary! 5.7 Banner New Characters and Official Models Revealed!

The Genshin Impact 5.6 banners are about to launch! Besides the announcement of new characters Emilie and Ifa, popular characters like Raiden Shogun, Kaedehara Kazuha, and Navia are also set for reruns. The long-awaited Inazuma mixed-banner is finally arriving as well. Meanwhile, the full event schedule for Version 5.6 and the major open-world activities for May have been officially revealed—let’s dive right in!

The first phase of the 5.6 banners will kick off on May 7, featuring the debut of Emilie as a new 5-star character, along with the new 4-star Ifa on the up-rate list.

On May 9, the new event “Harmonic Ballet” will begin. Travelers who participate and complete the event can earn 990 Primogems and a special 4-star event weapon.

Following that, on May 19, the event “Cascade Symphony” will be available, offering another 420 Primogems upon completion.

Later, on May 27, the “Tactical Schemes Chronicles” event will open, also rewarding 420 Primogems.
June 5 will see the launch of “Flaming Legends: Crossover Showdown”, with another 420 Primogems up for grabs, and finally on June 9, the “Ley Line Overflow” event will commence.

In total, all events combined will offer around 2,250 Primogems—a pretty generous haul for players!

Additionally, the new character artwork for the 5.7 banners is expected to be officially revealed around May 5.
Judging from the 5.6 character previews, the 5.7 banners will most likely feature the two final silhouettes teased earlier: Silkirk and Talia.
