HSR4.1 Warp Guide: Ashveil Full-Version UP, Hyacine & Boothill Reruns – Smart Stellar Jade UsageHSR4.1 Warp Guide: Ashveil Full-Version UP, Hyacine & Boothill Reruns – Smart Stellar Jade Usage

1. Version 4.1 Banner Overview
Full-version rate-up (3/25–4/21): Ashveil (5-star Lightning, The Hunt) + signature Light Cone The Finale of a Lie
First-half rerun (3/25–4/8): Hyacine (5-star Wind, Remembrance) + signature Light Cone Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky
Second-half rerun (4/8–4/21): Boothill (5-star Physical, The Hunt) + signature Light Cone Sailing Towards a Second Life
Version traits: a short transition patch before the anniversary period; unless a character is essential for your account, saving resources is a reasonable choice, while players with strong team-specific needs can pull confidently
2. In-Depth Breakdown of the Three Characters: Role, Strength, and Team Fit
Ashveil: The New Character Available All Version Long, a Core Sub-DPS and Damage Amplifier for Follow-Up Teams
As the only brand-new limited 5-star in Version 4.1, Ashveil is a Lightning character on The Hunt. He is a critical missing piece for follow-up teams, with a very clear power profile: top-tier within his intended archetype, but far less universal outside of it. He fits the single-target pressure and sustained damage identity of The Hunt extremely well.

Core Strengths
His Skill applies the “Bait” mark to a single enemy, enabling a teamwide 40% DEF reduction, which is currently one of the strongest damage amplification effects available for the whole team
His Talent synergizes with follow-up attacks: when allies hit the Bait target, Ashveil triggers an additional attack and builds Gorge stacks to further increase his own damage
His Ultimate boosts the team’s follow-up damage and CRIT DMG, and can chain additional attacks after defeating enemies, giving him both strong burst and sustained single-target pressure
Best Team Fit
Pure follow-up teams: if you already play around a follow-up main carry such as Feixiao, Ashveil can dramatically raise the team’s ceiling and help you deal with high-HP bosses and elites in Memory of Chaos.
Drawbacks
Outside of follow-up teams, his value drops significantly. His AoE is limited, and at E0 he has noticeable Energy demands. He is much better suited for players whose follow-up archetype is already established. He is not a universally dominant “must-pull” unit.
Hyacine: A Premium Support for HP-Scaling Teams, with Extremely High Rerun Priority
Hyacine is a Wind Remembrance support with outstanding survivability and utility. Among the rerun options in Version 4.1, she offers both strong team-specific value and excellent overall usefulness. She is the best support option for HP-scaling carries such as Castorice and Blade. If you skip her again, the wait for her next rerun could be very long.
Core Strengths
High-frequency automatic AoE healing and cleansing, with her memosprite maintaining team survivability throughout the fight; at E0, her kit is already highly complete and does not rely on Eidolons
Her Ultimate raises the team’s Max HP, making her both a strong defensive support and a direct offensive buffer for HP-scaling DPS units
She also contributes meaningful sub-DPS, with healing converting into memosprite damage, allowing her to provide both sustain and pressure
Best Team Fit
HP-scaling teams: she is an ideal partner for Castorice teams, and even at E0S0 she can massively improve overall team performance. She can also function as a general AoE sustain option in many standard lineups, making her useful for both newer and veteran players.
Drawbacks
In teams that do not benefit from HP scaling, her value gain is lower. Her priority also drops if you already have top-tier sustain characters such as Luocha or Gallagher and do not need another premium defensive slot.
Boothill: The Ceiling of Physical Break Damage, and a Very F2P-Friendly Single-Target Main DPS
Boothill is a Physical Hunt character and one of the strongest single-target Break DPS units in the game. He is relatively cheap to build, does not demand high-end CRIT relics, and focuses on Weakness Break damage, making him an excellent answer to high-Toughness bosses.
Core Strengths
His passive greatly boosts Toughness damage and Break damage, and he can force Physical Weakness onto enemies, allowing him to function even in fights where the target did not originally have that weakness
Very easy to build: he mainly wants Break Effect and Speed, so F2P players do not need perfect double-CRIT relics to achieve strong results
Excellent single-target burst after breaking enemies, making him ideal for boss fights and score-focused content
Best Team Fit
Physical Break teams and general boss-focused teams. He can work with Harmony and Erudition supports, and for newer players lacking a solid main DPS, he can temporarily serve as a reliable Physical carry.
Drawbacks
His AoE is weak, and he performs much worse in multi-target modes such as Pure Fiction. His output is highly dependent on Weakness Break timing, and his sustained damage is less stable than more direct damage-oriented carries. He is a strong counter-pick, not a universal must-pull.
3. Pull Recommendations: Know Your Account and Avoid Blind Pulling
Overall Priority Order for Most Players
Hyacine (must-have for HP teams) > Ashveil (must-have for established follow-up teams) > Boothill (for Physical/Break needs) > general completion picks
For Newer Players or Accounts with Weak Rosters
Prioritize Hyacine: at E0, she is a highly complete sustain support who keeps your team alive and offers some offensive value, making early progression much smoother
Skip Ashveil: follow-up teams require a more complete roster, and most newer players will not have the right core units to unlock his full value
Consider Boothill only if needed: if you lack a main DPS and are struggling in Physical-weak content, E0 Boothill can be worthwhile, but chasing Eidolons is not recommended
For Veteran Players with Established Archetypes
Follow-up team players: Ashveil is a must-pull. Even at E0, he can fundamentally upgrade the team. If possible, his signature Light Cone is also a strong pickup
Castorice or Blade players: Hyacine is a must-pull. She has no real substitute in those teams, and E0 is already enough
Physical or Break team players: pick up Boothill if you still lack a proper main DPS. If you already have a well-built Physical core, he becomes much more optional
For Players Saving for the Anniversary
Version 4.1 feels like a transition patch, and the anniversary is very likely to bring stronger limited units and better rewards. If none of these characters are essential for your account, skipping all three and saving your Stellar Jades is a very reasonable strategy. Take the free rewards and login pulls, and prepare for future banners instead of spending impulsively now.
For Eidolons and Signature Light Cones
Hyacine: E0 is fully functional. E1 improves comfort, but higher Eidolons have relatively low value. Her Light Cone is generally more worthwhile than Eidolons
Ashveil: E0 gives you his core value. E1 smooths out rotation issues, while his signature Light Cone offers a major boost for follow-up teams
Boothill: E0 is enough for bossing. Higher Eidolons are not especially necessary, and F2P players can comfortably use strong 4-star alternatives
Final Verdict and Pulling Pitfalls to Avoid
Ashveil
A must-pull for follow-up teams, but a risky pull if you do not actively play that archetype. Since he is available throughout the entire version, there is no need to rush.
Hyacine
A premium support for HP-scaling teams and the rarest type of rerun value in this patch. If your account needs her, she is absolutely worth prioritizing.
Boothill
A strong specialist for single-target Break play, with easy gearing and strong boss performance. However, his role is narrower, and he is the lowest priority of the three unless your account specifically needs him.
At the end of the day, Honkai: Star Rail pull planning should always follow one rule above all else: fit your own roster first, and never pull just because of hype. Version 4.1 gives players plenty of time to think, so use that flexibility wisely. Pull rationally, avoid wasteful spending, and make sure your Stellar Jades are reserved for the characters who truly improve your account.
