I. Version 6.5 Core Meta: Lunar Crystal Is Rising, and Even Low-Investment Teams Can Perform

The biggest story of Version 6.5 is the rise of the Lunar Crystal archetype, while the Lunar Bloom lineup is also seeing a major power spike.

With Linnea joining as a key off-field support for Lunar Crystal teams, even lower-investment accounts can now reach stable and surprisingly high damage output. These two archetypes are effectively defining the top end of the Version 6.5 meta.

That also makes the pull logic for this patch very straightforward: pull around team archetypes, not popularity. If a character fits and upgrades your core team, they are worth considering. If not, they are an easy skip.

II. Full Pull Breakdown for Every 6.5 Banner Character

The four featured characters in this patch fill very different roles. Some are easy recommendations with immediate account value, while others are much riskier for budget-conscious players. Here is the practical breakdown.

Linnea — Complete at C0, a Must-Pull for Lunar Crystal Players

Linnea is easily the highest-value pull in Version 6.5 and the uncontested top-tier support of the patch. Her biggest advantage is that she is already functionally complete at C0, with no heavy constellation dependence to unlock her core kit.

She brings RES shred for Geo teams, teamwide damage amplification, and sustained off-field healing in one slot. That makes her a perfect upgrade for Lunar Crystal teams while also allowing her to slot cleanly into more traditional Geo compositions. She also performs extremely well against Geo shields and feels great in open-world exploration.

For both free-to-play and low-spending players, Linnea is the safest pull in the entire patch.

Chasca — Real Power Spike at C2

Chasca is a constellation-dependent character. At C0, her strength is only average. Her most noticeable advantage is mobility during exploration, but in Spiral Abyss-level combat, her performance is much less convincing. She struggles to establish herself as either a true main DPS or a core support at base investment.

Her real breakpoint comes at C2, where her core mechanics improve significantly and both her damage and support value rise in a meaningful way. Because of that, she is mainly recommended for players already committed to advanced Lunar teams.

For free-to-play players and anyone not pulling out of pure character preference, Chasca is generally a skip.

Lauma — Essential for Lunar Bloom, and C0R1 Is Enough

Lauma is one of the core damage pieces for the Lunar Bloom archetype, and her pull priority sits just below Linnea in this version.

Current testing suggests that C0 with her signature weapon is already enough for stable use in both daily content and full-star Spiral Abyss clears. If your budget allows for more investment, C2 raises the ceiling of the team even further and makes her overall output feel smoother and more complete.

If you are planning to build seriously around Lunar Bloom, Lauma is a highly recommended pull. If your budget is limited, C0R1 is already sufficient and there is no strong need to chase higher constellations.

Nefer — A Major Trap for Budget Players

Nefer is the least recommended pull in the current Version 6.5 lineup for most budget-conscious players.

Her strength relies heavily on the Full Radiance-style bonus tied to running at least two Nod-Krai characters in the same team. Among those options, Lauma provides the most important upgrade for Nefer by far. Lauma’s Elemental Burst significantly boosts Nefer’s damage scaling, and that role is not realistically replaceable by other characters.

Without Lauma, Nefer’s damage drops off sharply even when paired with other Dendro options, and her gameplay feel also suffers noticeably. Because of that, Nefer is only recommended for players who already own Lauma and are fully committed to building deeper into the Lunar Bloom archetype.

Pull Priority Summary

Linnea is the universal must-pull of Version 6.5. At C0, she already delivers outstanding value and is the easiest recommendation for almost every type of player.

For players investing more heavily into archetype teams, Lauma is the next priority, with C0R1 as the main target and C2 as the premium upgrade point. Chasca only becomes truly appealing at C2, which makes her much harder to recommend for general accounts.

Nefer should be treated as a situational pull only. If you are not already committed to her team structure, and especially if you do not have Lauma, skipping her is the more efficient decision.

III. Upcoming Character Preview: Nicole and The Marionette Are Worth Watching

微信图片_20260407140557_927_12.png

Pull planning should never focus only on the current patch. If you want to avoid wasting Primogems, you also need to account for what is likely coming next.

Based on current leak trends and existing official hints, the next two characters are especially worth tracking.

Nicole — Expected in Version 6.6

Nicole is currently expected to release in Version 6.6 and is projected to be a core support piece for Magic-related teams. Her kit is expected to provide shielding, Elemental RES reduction, and teamwide damage buffs, making her a highly flexible support with strong archetype value.

She also appears to have particularly strong synergy with Durin. For players who already pulled Durin, Nicole is a character worth saving for now, since she could be the unit that fully completes that team structure.

The Marionette — Expected in Version 6.7

The Marionette is currently expected to arrive in Version 6.7. As one of the Fatui Harbingers, she is rumored to be an on-field Cryo or Electro main DPS built around an altered Superconduct-style reaction system.

As an important setup character ahead of the Snezhnaya arc, she already stands out through both her design and her projected mechanics. If the current direction holds, she could introduce one of the more distinctive new team styles in upcoming versions.

For players who prefer investing in future-facing on-field carries, she is one of the most important characters to keep on the radar.

Final Thoughts

Primogems are limited, and Version 6.5 rewards disciplined pull planning far more than impulse decisions.

The safest approach is to prioritize strong C0 core units and only invest deeper when a character clearly completes or upgrades a real team archetype. Linnea is the clear best value in the current patch, Lauma is the premium archetype investment, Chasca is a luxury option with a high entry cost, and Nefer is too conditional for most players.

Plan carefully, pull for structure rather than hype, and you will be in a much stronger position not only for Version 6.5, but also for Nicole and The Marionette in the patches ahead.
