HSR Banner Schedule 2026 – Current 4.6 Banner, Upcoming 4.7 & 4.8 Banners and Full 4.X History

1. HSR Current Banner: Version 4.6 (Pearl, Evanescia & Mortenax Blade)

The current HSR banner is Version 4.6. The update went live on September 28, 2026 for Asia and Europe, and on the evening of September 27 for the Americas. Pearl is the only new 5-star this patch, and her banner stays up for the whole version.

Dates are server time. All three character banners share the same rate-up 4-stars: Qingque, Xueyi, and Misha.

What Makes the 4.6 Banner Different?

• Pearl stays for the whole patch. Her banner, "An Ocean in a Pearl," runs from Phase 1 into Phase 2, so you can watch her live performance before you pull.
• Pearl is an Elation sustain. She is a DEF-scaling healer from the IPC's Ten Stonehearts. Her story Path is Preservation, but she plays as an Elation unit and gets the most value in full Elation teams.
• Evanescia has a real deadline. Her rerun ends on October 21. If you need an Elation damage dealer, decide on her before Phase 2 starts.
• Mortenax Blade is the flexible pick. He is a Fire Nihility debuffer, so he fits more existing teams than an Elation-only unit does.

2. HSR 4.0–4.6 Banner History: New Characters & Reruns

HoYoverse has already confirmed the next two HSR banner headliners. The full Warp schedules have not been announced yet.

Release timings for 4.7 and 4.8 are estimates based on the usual six-week patch cycle, not official dates.

HSR 4.7 Banner: Aeon ★ Aha (Nihilux) — What's Confirmed?

Aeon ★ Aha is the character players first met as Nihilux, the comic author from the Planarcadia story. She is the first Aeon ever to become playable in Honkai: Star Rail.

• Identity: Aeon of Elation, previously appearing as Nihilux

The Warp phase, the 4.7 rerun lineup, her full kit, Eidolons, and signature Light Cone are still pending until the Version 4.7 Special Program.

HSR 4.8 Banner: Honkai: Star Rail × Zenless Zone Zero Collab

The HSR × ZZZ collab was first announced for winter 2026. On September 20, HoYoverse confirmed it for Version 4.8, with two Zenless Zone Zero Agents boarding the Astral Express:

• Ellen Joe — an S-Rank Ice Attack Agent in ZZZ. Her HSR teaser shows Ice attacks.
• Astra Yao — an S-Rank Ether Support Agent in ZZZ, widely expected to take a support role in HSR.

Their HSR rarity, Combat Type, Path, Warp format, and rerun rules are not confirmed yet.

Treat claims like "Ellen will be free," "collab characters never rerun," or "both use a permanent banner like the Fate collab" as speculation until the 4.8 banner details are out.

4. HSR Leaks & Satellite Characters: Who Could Be Next?

Current HSR Leaks to Treat With Caution

• 4.7 reruns: There is no reliable rerun lineup yet.
• Kuchiba: Kuchiba is rumored as a future playable character, but the claim rests on a single early leak and is low-confidence.
• 5.X special forms: Rumors about new forms for fan favorites circulate widely. None have been officially revealed.
• Free collab character: The claim that Ellen Joe will be free remains unconfirmed.

Satellite Characters Worth Watching

"Satellite character" is a community term for characters who have appeared in the story, trailers, events, or official lore but have no confirmed playable release.

5. HSR Pull Planning: How to Spend Your Stellar Jade

Pearl, two reruns, Aeon ★ Aha, and the ZZZ collab all land within about three months. Pulling on every banner is hard to sustain, so plan around your targets.

Pity Basics

• Limited character banners have a 0.6% base 5-star rate, with hard pity at 90 pulls.
• If you lose the 50/50, your next 5-star is guaranteed to be the featured character.
• Pity and guarantee carry over between limited character banners. The Fate collab warps use their own shared counter.

Who Should Pull What?

• Elation main accounts: Aeon ★ Aha is the long-term priority. Pull Pearl only if your team needs an Elation sustain.
• Missing an Elation carry: Evanescia's rerun is the pull to decide on before October 21.
• F2P players: Complete one or two strong teams instead of spreading jade across every HSR banner.
• Monthly Pass players: Prioritize characters that complete an existing team before chasing Eidolons or signature Light Cones.
• Collab collectors: Keep a larger reserve until the 4.8 banner rules are confirmed.

If your Stellar Jade falls short when a must-pull character arrives, you can plan a Honkai: Star Rail Top Up around your current pity and guarantee. First work out how many pulls you actually need, then decide whether buying Oneiric Shards makes sense. That beats spending early on banners you are unsure about.

Officially revealed character → start saving.
Leak-only character → keep watching, but don't lock in your pull plan yet.

6. Conclusion

The Planarcadia era has become one of the busiest banner periods in Honkai: Star Rail. Elation grew from a brand-new Path into the core ecosystem of the 4.X cycle. Alternate forms of familiar characters are now common, and crossover characters play a bigger role in the HSR banner schedule.

Pearl is live now, Aeon ★ Aha is next in 4.7, and the Honkai: Star Rail × Zenless Zone Zero collab follows in 4.8. For long-term pull planning, sort information into three tiers:
