01VALORANT VP Prices in the US (2026)
VALORANT Points (VP) are VALORANT's premium currency. You spend them on weapon skins, skin bundles, the Premium Battle Pass, extra Battle Pass levels and Radianite Points. Skin prices in VP are the same in every region; only the real-money price of VP changes by country.
US players can choose from six VP packs. Every pack above $4.99 adds bonus VP, so the larger the pack, the more VP you get per dollar.
US VALORANT VP price list
| Price (USD) | Base VP | Bonus VP | Total VP | VP per $1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $4.99 | 475 | 0 | 475 | 95.2 |
| $9.99 | 950 | 50 | 1,000 | 100.1 |
| $19.99 | 1,900 | 150 | 2,050 | 102.6 |
| $34.99 | 3,325 | 325 | 3,650 | 104.3 |
| $49.99 | 4,750 | 600 | 5,350 | 107.0 |
| $99.99 | 9,500 | 1,500 | 11,000 | 110.0 |

Which VP pack offers the best value?
Best rate
110 VP / $1
11,000 VP for $99.99
Lowest rate
95.2 VP / $1
475 VP for $4.99
Difference
~15% more VP
per dollar with the largest pack
The 11,000 VP pack has the best rate, but only if you will actually spend that VP. If you need enough for one skin or one Battle Pass, the smallest pack that covers it is the better buy.
Tip: You can't buy a custom VP amount, but you can combine packs. For example, 5,000 VP exactly (2,050 + 1,000 + 1,000 + 475 + 475) costs $49.95, while the single 5,350 VP pack costs $49.99 and gives you 350 VP more. The single larger pack is almost always the better choice.
In-game price vs KeyGold price
KeyGold delivers the same official VP packs to your account through a login top-up, at a lower price than the in-game store. Supported accounts include North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Brazil.
| VP pack | In-game (US) | KeyGold | You save |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 VP | $9.99 | $7.56 | $2.43 |
| 2,050 VP | $19.99 | $15.12 | $4.87 |
| 3,650 VP | $34.99 | $26.47 | $8.52 |
| 5,350 VP | $49.99 | $37.82 | $12.17 |
| 11,000 VP | $99.99 | $75.64 | $24.35 |

02How Much Do VALORANT Skins Cost?
Weapon skins are the main reason most players buy VP. Every skin belongs to an Edition tier, and the tier sets its price. Melee skins usually cost double the gun price of their tier.
VALORANT skin prices by tier
| Edition | Gun skin | Melee skin | Approx. US cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Select | 875 VP | 1,750 VP | ~$10 |
| Deluxe | 1,275 VP | 2,550 VP | ~$15 |
| Premium | 1,775 VP | 3,550 VP | ~$20 |
| Exclusive | 2,175 VP (some up to 2,675) | 4,350 VP+ | ~$25–$30 |
| Ultra | 2,475 VP (some higher) | 4,950 VP+ | ~$25–$30 |
Riot fixes the Select, Deluxe and Premium prices and lists Exclusive and Ultra as "varies". The Exclusive and Ultra figures above are the standard prices most collections use; limited lines such as Champions skins can cost more.
What do the skin tiers include?
- Select: a new weapon model or finish, with no custom effects. The cheapest way to change a gun's look.
- Deluxe: more detailed designs and themes, usually without custom animations or sounds.
- Premium: the most popular tier. Upgrade levels unlock custom effects, sounds, animations, a finisher and color variants.
- Exclusive: special collections, often collaborations or event lines, with unique presentation.
- Ultra: the most elaborate skins, with the biggest visual and audio changes.
Premium skin upgrades are unlocked with Radianite Points, not VP. Factor that in if you want a fully upgraded Vandal or Phantom.
How much should you budget for a skin?
Here is the simplest US pack purchase for each target, starting from a zero VP balance.
| Target | VP needed | Buy | Cost | VP left |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Select skin | 875 | 1,000 | $9.99 | 125 |
| Deluxe skin | 1,275 | 1,000 + 475 | $14.98 | 200 |
| Premium skin | 1,775 | 2,050 | $19.99 | 275 |
| Exclusive or Ultra skin | 2,175–2,475 | 2,050 + 475 | $24.98 | 50–350 |
| Premium melee or 2 Premium skins | 3,550 | 3,650 | $34.99 | 100 |
| 3 Premium skins | 5,325 | 5,350 | $49.99 | 25 |
Any VP already in your account lowers what you need to buy. Leftover VP stays in your wallet for your next purchase.
03VALORANT Skin Bundles: How Much VP Do You Need?
A featured bundle usually includes four weapon skins, a melee skin and accessories such as a player card, gun buddy and spray. A typical four-gun Premium bundle at 7,100 VP costs about the same as its four gun skins bought one by one, so the melee and accessories effectively come with it. Buying that melee on its own later would cost 3,550 VP.
VALORANT bundle prices by tier
| Bundle tier | Typical price | Simplest US purchase |
|---|---|---|
| Select | 2,930–3,500 VP | 3,650 VP — $34.99 |
| Deluxe | 4,270–5,100 VP | 5,350 VP — $49.99 |
| Premium | 7,100–8,855 VP | 5,350 + 2,050 VP — $69.98 (up to 7,400 VP); 5,350 + 3,650 VP — $84.98 for larger bundles |
| Exclusive | 8,700–10,700 VP | 11,000 VP — $99.99 |
| Ultra | 9,900 VP+ | 11,000 VP — $99.99 |
Riot does not publish fixed bundle prices. These ranges are based on recent store listings; limited event bundles can cost more.
Should you buy the full bundle or single skins?
Buy the bundle if
- You want most of its guns and the melee
- It's a limited line that may not return
- You'd buy the melee separately anyway
Buy single skins if
- You only like one or two weapons
- The bundle includes guns you rarely use
- You can wait for the skin in your daily Store
Two things to know before you buy: bundles can't be refunded, and most standard skins can return in your daily rotating Store after the featured bundle leaves. Limited lines, such as Champions bundles, usually don't come back.
04VALORANT Battle Pass Price and Budget
The Premium Battle Pass costs 1,000 VP, which is exactly the $9.99 US pack. A new pass arrives with each Act, roughly every two months in 2026, with weapon skins, player cards, gun buddies, sprays and other cosmetics on its reward track.
Battle Pass costs
| Purchase | VP needed | Simplest US purchase |
|---|---|---|
| Premium Battle Pass | 1,000 VP | 1,000 VP — $9.99 |
| 1 extra level | 300 VP | 475 VP — $4.99 |
| 5 extra levels | 1,500 VP | 2,050 VP — $19.99 |
| 10 extra levels | 3,000 VP | 2,050 + 1,000 VP — $29.98 |
Purchases assume a zero VP balance. The Premium Battle Pass and Battle Pass levels can't be refunded, and the pass doesn't pay VP back as a reward.
Is the Battle Pass worth buying?
For regular players, yes. For the price of about half a Premium skin, you get several weapon skins and a stack of accessories. Battle Pass skins are simpler than Premium store skins, though, and you only get the rewards you actually level up to.
Worth it if
- You play several times a week
- You like collecting cards, buddies and sprays
- You want many cosmetics for $9.99
Skip it if
- You only play now and then
- The Act is almost over
- You only want one specific store skin
Tip: Premium rewards unlock for every level you have already reached. If you're unsure, play the free track first and buy the pass once you can see you'll reach the rewards you want.
05How Much Should You Spend on VALORANT VP?
Most players don't need the 11,000 VP pack. Pick a budget based on what you actually plan to buy over the next few weeks.
Recommended VP budgets
$9.99
1,000 VP
One Premium Battle Pass, or one Select skin.
$19.99
2,050 VP
One Premium skin, or a Battle Pass with 1,050 VP left.
$49.99
5,350 VP
Three Premium skins, a Deluxe bundle, or several Battle Passes.
$99.99
11,000 VP
Almost any single Exclusive or Ultra bundle, at the best VP rate.
How much VP does your budget buy?
| Budget | Most VP | Packs to buy |
|---|---|---|
| $5 | 475 VP | 475 |
| $10 | 1,000 VP | 1,000 |
| $15 | 1,475 VP | 1,000 + 475 |
| $20 | 2,050 VP | 2,050 |
| $25 | 2,525 VP | 2,050 + 475 |
| $30 | 3,050 VP | 2,050 + 1,000 |
| $40 | 4,125 VP | 3,650 + 475 |
| $50 | 5,350 VP | 5,350 |
| $75 | 7,875 VP | 5,350 + 2,050 + 475 |
| $100 | 11,000 VP | 11,000 |
If you buy cosmetics occasionally, the $9.99 or $19.99 pack is usually enough. If you buy Premium skins or bundles regularly, the $49.99 pack balances upfront cost and VP value. To stretch the same budget further, you can buy VALORANT Points on KeyGold for less than the in-game price.
06Tips to Get More Value From Your VALORANT VP
Wait for the Night Market
The Night Market returns several times a year and gives each player six random skin offers at 10% to 49% off. Only Select, Deluxe and Premium skins appear, so it's the cheapest way to get a Premium skin.
Buy for the weapons you actually use
A Premium Vandal or Phantom skin you equip every match is better value than a full bundle of guns you rarely pick.
Match the pack to the purchase
Check the item's exact VP price first, then buy the smallest pack or combination that covers it. Don't buy a bigger pack just for the bonus.
Know the refund rules
Riot refunds unused VP and unused, un-upgraded weapon skins bought in the last 14 days. Bundles, the Battle Pass, Battle Pass levels and Radianite Points can't be refunded, so double-check those before you buy.
Pay less for the same VP
The VP you receive is identical wherever you buy it. A discounted VALORANT top up lowers the real cost of every skin and Battle Pass.
Common VP mistakes
Equipping before deciding
Using a skin in any match, even the Range, makes it non-refundable.
Buying the pass late
Check how much time is left in the Act before paying for rewards you may not reach.
Ignoring your region
VP prices depend on your Riot account region, not where you are located.
07Which VALORANT VP Pack Should You Buy?
US VP packs run from $4.99 for 475 VP to $99.99 for 11,000 VP. The right pack depends on what you're buying:
- Battle Pass or a Select skin: 1,000 VP ($9.99)
- One Premium skin: 2,050 VP ($19.99)
- One Exclusive or Ultra skin: 2,050 + 475 VP ($24.98)
- Premium melee or two Premium skins: 3,650 VP ($34.99)
- Premium bundle: 5,350 + 2,050 VP ($69.98) or more
- Exclusive or Ultra bundle: 11,000 VP ($99.99)
Set a budget, check the exact VP price in the Store, and only buy the VP you expect to use. A great-looking Vandal is nice to have, but it shouldn't empty your wallet.
