How to Set a Link Password and Find Your Trainer ID

1. From the Home screen, open Menu, then go to Other → Data Link.
2. Read the pop-up and select Data Link again.
3. Choose Set a Link Password, tap Set, and enter your password twice to confirm.
4. Write down or screenshot your Trainer ID and Link Password, and keep them somewhere safe, ideally not only on the device you play on.

That's all you need to do. The "Use Trainer ID + Password" option is for the device that receives the account, so please do not tap it on your own device. Our specialist uses it on our side to sign in.

Two details make these numbers heavier than they look. First, the base rate for a 3★ Trainee or SSR Support Card is just 3%, the featured Spotlight unit sits at 0.75% per pull, and there is no soft pity. Your odds on pull 199 are exactly the same as on pull 1.

Second, the Umamusume pity system resets with every banner. Each Scout gives 1 Exchange Point, and 200 points let you pick the featured unit outright. But points belong to that one banner, banners usually last about a week, and leftover points automatically turn into Clovers at 1:1, which only buy minor rewards. Trainee and Support Card banners track points separately while drawing from the same Carat wallet. Half a spark is worth almost nothing, which is why Trainers top up mid-banner.
