02Genshin 7.2 Livestream Codes (Expire October 26)

The Version 7.2 "Hour of Ruin" Special Program aired on October 23, 2026 and dropped three codes: HourofRuin, ExpertMitya and PhotoTime. Each one gives 100 Primogems, so together they are worth 300 free Primogems, the biggest code drop of the version. They are not 24-hour codes: HoYoverse set the deadline at October 26, 2026, 12:00 (UTC+8).

What's Coming in Genshin 7.2?

Version 7.2 "Hour of Ruin" launches on November 4, 2026. It adds two new Electro characters from Snezhnaya: Mitya, a 5-star Catalyst user, and Valeriy, a 4-star Sword user. Phase 1 pairs Mitya's debut banner with a Furina rerun, and Phase 2 brings back Zibai and Linnea. Players at Adventure Rank 5 or above usually get Primogems in their mail as maintenance compensation after the update. For kits, teams and pull advice, see our Mitya and Valeriy guide.

Previous Livestream Codes (Expired)

  • Version 7.1: Rekviem, Vesna0923, PrimaDonna (expired September 15, 2026)
  • Version 7.0: Everwinter, OntoSnezhnaya, Odette0812 (expired August 3, 2026)

03How to Redeem Genshin Impact Codes

You need Adventure Rank 10 to redeem most Genshin codes. Rewards arrive in your in-game mail either way, and that mail expires after about 30 days, so claim it soon.

Method 1: Redemption Website (All Platforms, Including iOS)

1Tap any code in the tables above, or open the official Genshin code redemption page.
2Log in with the HoYoverse account linked to your game.
3Select your server (America, Europe, Asia or TW/HK/MO). Your character name fills in automatically.
4Check the code and click Redeem.
5Open Genshin Impact and go to Paimon Menu > Mail to collect your rewards.

Method 2: In-Game (PC, Android, PS5, Xbox)

Open the Paimon Menu, tap the gear icon for Settings, select Account, then tap Redeem Now next to Redeem Code. Paste the code, tap Exchange, and claim the rewards from your mail. On PS5, open the Paimon Menu with the Options button. On iPhone and iPad, in-game redemption isn't available, so use the website.

04Genshin Codes Not Working? Common Fixes

"Already in use"

You already claimed it, or you claimed a code of the same type. Codes that start with the same four characters (GS71…, PLDX…) count as one.

"Redemption code expired"

The code is gone. Livestream codes and creator codes expire first, so check the expired list below.

"Invalid redemption code"

A typo or an extra space. Use the clickable links above so the code is filled in for you.

"Redemption in cooldown"

Wait about 5 seconds between codes when you redeem several in a row.

Adventure Rank too low

Most codes need AR10. Finishing the Prologue gets you there quickly.

Rewards never arrived

You picked the wrong server. Rewards only go to the server you select, so match it to the account you play on.

Codes on this page are for the global version. Codes for the Chinese version (Yuanshen) don't work on global servers, and global codes don't work there.

06How to Get More Free Primogems

Codes are the fastest free Primogems, but they only add up to a few hundred per version. These sources give you far more over a patch:

  • Daily Commissions: unlocked at AR12, worth 60 Primogems a day once all four are done.
  • Events: each version's limited events are the biggest Primogem source outside the story.
  • Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater: both reset regularly and pay Primogems for clears.
  • Archon and Story Quests: 7.2 continues the Snezhnaya Archon Quest with new acts to clear.
  • Character Trials: try each featured 5-star on the current banner for 20 Primogems.
  • Maintenance compensation: HoYoverse usually mails Primogems after each version update, such as the 300 Primogems sent for 7.1.
  • Chests, Achievements and Oculi: steady rewards while you explore.
  • Starglitter and Stardust: exchange them in Paimon's Bargains for Intertwined and Acquaint Fates.

New codes mostly come from each version's Special Program, partner promotions and creator drops. Follow the official Genshin Impact accounts on X, YouTube and HoYoLAB, or bookmark this page. We check for new codes every day.

07Need More Primogems for Mitya?

Skirk and Escoffier's reruns run until November 3, and Mitya's banner opens with Version 7.2 on November 4. Plan your pulls with the full Genshin banner schedule.

If free codes won't get you to pity in time, KeyGold's Genshin Impact top-up is a login top-up: you sign in with your HoYoverse account and we buy the pack directly in your game, at a much lower price than standard UID top-up. It works on every server (Asia, America, Europe, TW/HK/MO) and on mobile, PC and PS5. The first-time double Genesis Crystals bonus is kept, and you can buy anything in the in-game shop, including the Blessing of the Welkin Moon. Not sure which method suits you? Read our UID vs login top-up comparison.

Pull for Mitya with Cheaper Genesis Crystals

All servers, first-time double bonus kept, major global and local payment methods, and a full refund if an order isn't delivered.

Frequently asked questions

As of October 24, 2026, the newest Genshin codes are the Version 7.2 livestream codes HourofRuin, ExpertMitya and PhotoTime, worth 100 Primogems each, plus PJ2KEBRAYSRM for 60 Primogems.
They expire on October 26, 2026 at 12:00 (UTC+8). That is 04:00 UTC, midnight in New York and 9:00 PM on October 25 in Los Angeles.
About 510 Primogems from the active codes, and 300 of those come from the 7.2 livestream codes. GENSHINGIFT may add 50 more if it is accepting redemptions.
No. VesnaOnPatrol expired on October 22, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8).
Not reliably. GENSHINGIFT has a usage cap and only works periodically, so try it but don’t count on it. Each account can redeem it only once.
The code may have expired, been redeemed already, or been typed with an extra space. You also need Adventure Rank 10 and the right server. Codes that start with the same four characters, such as the GS71 codes, count as one.
On iPhone and iPad, use the official redemption website, because in-game redemption isn’t available there. On PS5, Xbox, PC and Android, you can redeem in-game under Settings > Account or on the website.
Version 7.2 “Hour of Ruin” launches on November 4, 2026. It adds Mitya and Valeriy, and Phase 1 pairs Mitya with a Furina rerun.
