Upon arriving at the ruins, you will spot the newly added Version 6.4 Local Legend, "The Homesick Lone Wolf," guarding a glowing sword hilt stuck in a stone. You must defeat it before attempting to touch the hilt; otherwise, your dialogue will be interrupted by its attacks.

2. Touch the Sword Hilt and Enter the Domain

After defeating the Lone Wolf, make sure to switch to Varka to touch the hilt. If you use any other character, it will only trigger a short cutscene with the Traveler, and nothing will happen. Only when Varka touches the hilt will the entrance to the final trial open.

Phase 2: Trial of Boreas's Shadow

• Elemental Infusion: Upon collecting 3 orbs, Varka will gain a special Pyro infusion that lasts for 14.5 seconds.

3. Trial of the Wind: Pyro Swirl Mechanic

The shadow will disappear and summon a mirror image of itself. Simply attacking the mirage will not work. You must use the constantly respawning "Unextinguished Flame of Battle" to gain Pyro infusion and defeat the mirage via the Pyro Swirl mechanic. Once the mirage dissipates, Boreas's Shadow will reappear and enter a long stunned phase—this is your chance to deal maximum damage.

Ending and Rewards: Legacy of the Legendary Knight

After the battle, you will experience an exclusive cutscene featuring the Bloodstained Knight, Roland. The cinematography is stunning, explaining the origins of this "indestructible blade" and the unwavering path the knight believed in.
