Wuthering Waves 3.6 Jingran Guide | Build, Teams & Pull Advice

Finley Davis, KeyGoldFinley Davis

Jingran is a new 5-star Fusion Broadblade Main DPS arriving in the second half of Wuthering Waves 3.6. His kit revolves around HP scaling, Heavy Attack damage, and self-Shielding.

His biggest build priority is HP. Aim for around 50,000 HP first, then focus on CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and Heavy Attack DMG instead of stacking more HP.

Jingran already has a complete kit at S0, while his signature weapon makes gearing much easier. Iuno is one of his best teammates thanks to her strong Shield and Heavy Attack synergy, but Mortefi works well as a budget alternative.

If you need a reliable Fusion Main DPS, Jingran is a strong option with simple rotations, solid survivability, and straightforward gearing.

1. Jingran Kit Overview

Jingran

1. Enhanced Heavy Attacks Are His Main Damage Source

Most of Jingran's damage comes from Enhanced Heavy Attacks.

His kit revolves around switching between Yin and Yang states while managing his unique resource. After casting Resonance Liberation, Jingran enters his main burst window and trades HP for stronger damage.

Basic Rotation

Intro Skill → Resonance Liberation → Resonance Skill → Enhanced Heavy Attack

Use Heavy Attacks whenever your resource is ready and avoid overcapping it.

2. Aim for Around 50,000 HP

Jingran scales heavily with HP, so reaching his HP requirement should be your first build priority.

Recommended target: 50,000 HP

After reaching the target, prioritize:

CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > Heavy Attack DMG > HP

There is little reason to push HP up to 60,000–70,000. Once the recommended threshold is reached, stronger CRIT stats usually provide more value.

3. Ghost Shroud Makes Shielders Extremely Valuable

Jingran's Ghost Shroud can stack up to 50 times.

Receiving Shields helps Jingran build these stacks faster, which is why Iuno is one of his best partners at S0. She provides frequent Shields while also supporting his Heavy Attack playstyle.

Key Point: Jingran feels noticeably better when paired with Iuno.

4. His Field Time Is Fairly Fixed

Jingran usually stays on-field for around 13 seconds per rotation, making him a relatively long-field-time Main DPS.

His rotation is easy to execute and does not require constant quick-swapping. However, forcing a shorter rotation can significantly reduce his burst damage.

2. Best Weapons for Jingran

Priority Weapon Notes
T0 Best

Thousandfold Deliverance

Thousandfold Deliverance

Jingran's signature Broadblade. It provides valuable HP scaling while greatly improving his Heavy Attack and CRIT performance, alongside DEF Ignore. For most players, his signature weapon is more valuable than early Resonance Chains.
T1 Alternative

Radiance Cleaver

Radiance Cleaver

A solid alternative with CRIT DMG and useful offensive bonuses. However, it lacks the HP Jingran wants, so both damage and build comfort are lower than with his signature weapon.
T2 Budget

Aureate Zenith

Aureate Zenith

A usable budget Broadblade that boosts Heavy Attack damage. Its lack of HP makes it noticeably weaker than premium options, so it is best used as a temporary weapon.

Recommended investment order:

Jingran → Thousandfold Deliverance → Resonance Chains

For most F2P and low-spending players, S0R1 is the best stopping point.

3. Best Echoes & Stats

Lamp of Nether Road|44111

Lamp of Nether Road works extremely well with Jingran's Shield and Fusion mechanics while also making his CRIT build easier to complete.

Echo COST Main Stat Substat Priority
4-COST ×2 CRIT DMG + CRIT DMG, or adjust CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG based on your final stats HP% > CRIT > Heavy Attack DMG > Flat HP. ATK has low value.
1-COST ×3 HP% HP% > CRIT > Heavy Attack DMG

Recommended Endgame Stats

HP: Around 50,000

CRIT Rate: 75%–85%

CRIT DMG: 220%+

Energy Regen: Around 120%

Build Priority: Reach your HP target first, then focus on CRIT stats.

4. Best Jingran Teams

1. Premium Team: Jingran + Iuno + Shorekeeper

Jingran + Iuno + Shorekeeper

★★★★★ Best Overall

Iuno provides frequent Shields and excellent Heavy Attack synergy, while Shorekeeper adds healing, CRIT support, and powerful team-wide buffs.

Team Strengths: Damage + Shields + Healing + Buffs

Rotation

Shorekeeper → Iuno → Jingran Intro Skill → Resonance Liberation → Heavy Attack Combo

2. Budget Team: Jingran + Mortefi + Verina

Jingran + Mortefi + Verina

★★★★☆ Best Budget Option

Mortefi is a solid 4-star Heavy Attack support, while Verina provides healing and general buffs at a low investment cost.

The damage ceiling is lower than the Iuno team, but it offers excellent value for F2P and low-spending players.

3. High-Damage Team: Jingran + Iuno + S1 Mornye

Jingran + Iuno + Mornye

★★★★★ Higher Damage Ceiling

If you have S1 Mornye, she can replace Shorekeeper in more offense-focused setups.

Shorekeeper: Safer, more universal, easier to play

S1 Mornye: Better for pushing Jingran's damage ceiling

5. Should You Pull Jingran?

✅ Recommended If

1. You need a Fusion Main DPS
S0R1 is enough to build a strong team, with several budget support options available.

2. You already own Iuno
Her Shield and Heavy Attack synergy make Jingran much easier to build around.

3. You like Jingran
His core gameplay is already complete at S0, so extra Resonance Chains are not required.

4. You need another endgame team
His strong survivability and easy rotation make him comfortable for Tower of Adversity.

❌ Consider Skipping If

1. You already have enough strong Main DPS teams

2. You are saving Astrite for upcoming Resonators

3. You do not own Iuno and only care about Jingran's maximum ceiling

If you are only a few pulls away from Jingran or Thousandfold Deliverance, you can compare in-game pricing with WuWa Top Up options before topping up. Set a budget first and avoid overspending just to chase extra Resonance Chains.

Final Thoughts

Jingran is a distinctive Fusion Heavy Attack Main DPS with strong HP scaling.

His main strengths are his high floor, strong survivability, easy rotation, and complete S0 kit. Iuno raises his ceiling, but budget options such as Mortefi can still work well.

If you need a Fusion Main DPS and already own Iuno, S0R1 Jingran is an excellent stopping point.

FAQ

Q1: Is Jingran bad without Iuno?

No. S0 Jingran remains completely playable with alternatives such as Mortefi. Iuno mainly improves his ceiling and comfort.

Q2: Does Jingran need Thousandfold Deliverance?

Highly recommended, but not mandatory. His signature weapon improves HP scaling, Heavy Attack damage, and overall build comfort. For most players, S0R1 > early Resonance Chains.

Q3: Should I stack as much HP as possible?

No. Aim for around 50,000 HP, then prioritize:

CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > Heavy Attack DMG > Additional HP

Q4: Jingran or Qingxiao — who should I pull?

Choose Jingran if you need a Fusion Main DPS or already own Iuno. Pick Qingxiao if you prefer her playstyle and team archetype. If Astrite is limited, pulling both is not recommended.
