Wuthering Waves Codes: Active Codes & Livestream Schedule
Currently working Wuthering Waves redeem codes, the Special Program cycle that produces every livestream code, and what to do when a code returns an error.

Greetings, Rovers. This page covers the Wuthering Waves codes that actually work right now, how the livestream code cycle works so you can catch the next batch before it expires, and what to do when a code fails. Kuro Games issues codes rarely and lets them expire fast, so knowing the rhythm matters more here than in most gacha titles.
Active Wuthering Waves Codes
-
WUTHERINGGIFT PermanentAstrite ×50
Premium Resonance Potion ×2
Medium Revival Inhaler ×2
Medium Energy Bag ×2
Shell Credits ×10,000
Yes, that is the whole list right now
Wuthering Waves is between code batches. The Version 3.6 livestream codes expired on August 9, 2026, and Kuro Games has not released replacements yet. WUTHERINGGIFT is the only permanently active code in the game — it has been live since launch and works for every account that has not already used it.
If you are new, redeem this one first. If you find a longer "active" list elsewhere, check it against the expired section below before spending time on it — most of those lists have simply never been cleaned up.
Livestream Codes: How the Cycle Works
Almost every worthwhile Wuthering Waves code comes from the same place: the developer livestream, called the Special Program, which airs shortly before each major version update. Understanding this pattern is more useful than any static code list, because it tells you when to look.
The pattern, every time
- A Special Program airs roughly every six weeks, just before a new version drops.
- Each one hands out three codes totalling 300 Astrite, plus materials.
- The codes are revealed on screen mid-broadcast and are valid for only a few days — usually expiring within a week or two of the stream.
- They are never re-issued. Miss the window and that 300 Astrite is gone.
Recent examples, all now dead: Version 3.5 gave MECHANISMCITY, INTOTHEFOG and REUNION. Version 3.6 gave HEARTOFSWORD, THEANSWER and ETERNALFLAME, which expired on August 9.
The practical takeaway: rather than checking code lists daily, watch for the next Special Program announcement on Kuro's official channels and redeem the same day it airs. That single habit will get you every livestream code the game issues.
How to Redeem Wuthering Waves Codes
You need to be at least Union Level 2 before the redemption option exists. That means clearing the Chapter 1, Act 1 main quest Utterance of Marvels: I — under an hour of play on a fresh account.
- Open the Terminal, the game's main menu.
- Open Settings via the cog icon.
- Go to the Other Settings tab — the one marked with a spanner icon.
- Under Account, press the Redeem button next to Redemption Code.
- Paste the code and confirm. A pop-up tells you whether it worked.
- Open your in-game mailbox to claim the rewards.
Do not let mail sit. Reward mail is automatically deleted after two weeks. Redeeming a code is not the same as claiming it — if you redeem and then take a break, the rewards can vanish before you return. It is also worth checking your mailbox regularly for maintenance compensation and survey rewards from Kuro, which arrive the same way and expire the same way.
There is no redemption website for Wuthering Waves, unlike most gacha games. Codes can only be entered in-game. Any site offering to redeem a WuWa code for you, or asking for account details to do so, has no official mechanism to be using.
Why Your Code Is Not Working
- It expired. By far the most likely cause. Livestream codes last days, not months, and most published lists are months out of date.
- You already redeemed it. One use per account. A second attempt returns an error that looks identical to an invalid-code error.
- Capitalisation. Codes are case-sensitive. Copy and paste rather than typing, and watch for a trailing space dragged along from a webpage.
- You are below Union Level 2. If the Redemption Code option is missing rather than rejecting your input, this is why.
- It was a platform-exclusive code. Kuro has occasionally issued PC-only or storefront-specific codes that will not validate on other clients.
A quick diagnostic: if every code on a list fails but the redemption box accepts your input normally, the list is stale rather than your account being broken. Given that WuWa currently has exactly one working code, that is the most likely explanation by some margin.
Expired Wuthering Waves Codes
These no longer work. Several are still published as active elsewhere:
Note how many of these are readable words tied to a version theme. That is the signature of a livestream code — and every one of them had a lifespan measured in days.
Free Ways to Get More Astrite
With one code active, the free routes matter more than usual. These are where your pull budget actually comes from:
- Daily activities — up to 60 Astrite a day. Unglamorous, but it outpaces every code in the game within a week.
- Events and endgame content — the largest single source. Main, side and companion quests all award Astrite, and companion quests are the ones people skip.
- Exploration — supply chests and Tidal Heritages scattered across the map.
- Resonance Nexuses and Beacons — each fast-travel point you unlock pays out once.
- Data Bank levels — absorbing Echoes from defeated enemies raises your Data Bank, which yields rewards as it climbs.
Perspective worth having: daily activities alone give more Astrite in a single day than WUTHERINGGIFT gives in total. Codes in this game are a small bonus, not a strategy.
Beyond Codes: Wuthering Waves Top Up
When the free routes run dry and there is a banner you actually want, Lunites are the only way to close the gap quickly. You can buy Wuthering Waves Lunites through KeyGold at a lower price than the in-game store.
How the process works for this game
Wuthering Waves does not offer a public ID-based top-up channel the way most mobile titles do, so this one is handled as an assisted top-up rather than a direct delivery. Here is exactly what happens:
- Place your order and complete payment.
- Provide your login details so we can access the account and make the purchase. Stay logged out of the game while this is in progress — a simultaneous login will interrupt it.
- We complete the top-up for the product you ordered.
- We log out and clear the login history.
- You get a notification, log back in to verify, and change your password — we recommend this as standard practice after any assisted top-up.
If you would rather not share account access, this game's official in-store purchase remains available at full price. It is a genuine trade-off between cost and convenience, and worth deciding deliberately.
One practical note on value: larger Lunite packs cost less per unit, and first-purchase bonuses are one-time doubles worth saving for a banner you care about rather than spending casually. Claim WUTHERINGGIFT and clear your dailies first, then decide whether a Wuthering Waves top up makes sense for the banner in front of you.
Wuthering Waves Codes FAQ
Why is there only one active code?
Because Kuro Games only issues codes around version livestreams, and those expire within days. WUTHERINGGIFT is the sole permanent code. Between broadcasts, having one working code is the normal state for this game — not a sign that a list is incomplete.
Is there a Wuthering Waves code redemption website?
No. Codes can only be redeemed in-game through Settings → Other Settings → Redemption Code. Unlike most gacha games, Kuro has never launched a web redemption portal.
When do new codes come out?
At each Special Program livestream, which airs roughly every six weeks before a major version update. Three codes worth 300 Astrite total, valid for a few days only.
Can I use a code on more than one account?
Yes, as long as each account has not already redeemed it and the code has not expired. What you cannot do is redeem the same code twice on one account.
I redeemed a code but got nothing.
Rewards go to your in-game mailbox, not straight to your inventory. Open the mailbox and claim them — and do it within two weeks, because mail is deleted automatically after that.
Are there codes that give free Lunites?
No. Lunites are the paid currency and Kuro has never distributed them through public codes. Codes give Astrite and materials. Any site promising free Lunites is a scam.
We update this page when Kuro actually releases something and move codes into the expired list as they die, rather than leaving a long list of dead strings up to look impressive. Bookmark it and check around each Special Program — that is when there is genuinely something new to claim.
