Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 Livestream Summary

Jordan Taylor, KeyGoldJordan Taylor

Hey Proxies! The Version 3.2 Special Program has wrapped up, and there’s plenty to look forward to.

The biggest highlights are the brand-new Armorer specialty and the Flint Workshop duo. Claret brings a new DEF-scaling DPS + multi-CRIT playstyle, while Roxy is a rare Wind Stun Agent with strong team utility.

If you’re planning your pulls, Version 3.2 isn’t just about which new Agent looks better. You’ll also want to check what your account actually needs: a new main DPS, a Stun unit, or a full Armorer team setup.

This guide covers all the key announcements from the 3.2 livestream, including new Agents, banner schedule, main story, events, free outfits, login rewards, and redeem codes, so you can plan your Polychromes and pulls ahead of time.

1. New Agents

Version 3.2 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Flint Workshop. Claret is also the first playable Agent with the new Armorer Specialty.

1. Claret Flint | First Armorer Main DPS

Claret Flint | First Armorer Main DPS

Claret is the first playable Agent to introduce Zenless Zone Zero’s new Specialty — Armorer.

Unlike most ATK-scaling main DPS units, Claret’s skills rely heavily on DEF, so her gearing priorities differ from traditional Attack DPS builds.

Her core gameplay loop is:

DEF → Gash → Maim → multi-CRIT → burst DMG

The key mechanic is multi-CRIT. Once CRIT Rate exceeds 100%, the excess is not wasted and can continue contributing to additional CRIT checks.

In simple terms:

Claret does not stop gaining value at 100% CRIT Rate — excess CRIT can still increase her damage.

For builds, focus mainly on DEF, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG.

2. Roxy Ifrita Pryce | Wind Stun

Roxy Ifrita Pryce | Wind Stun

Roxy is an S-Rank Wind Stun Agent.

Her EX Special Attack creates tornadoes and forms Eyes of the Storm, which can then be gathered and detonated for AoE DMG and heavy Daze.

Compared with a pure Stunner, Roxy offers more team utility:

Stun + grouping + team utility

She naturally pairs well with Claret, but her Stun and grouping utility also gives her broader team potential.

2. Version 3.2 Banner Schedule

Version 3.2 is split into two banner phases, each featuring one new S-Rank Agent + one rerun S-Rank Agent.

How Should You Prioritize Pulls in Version 3.2?

Based on the Special Program roles, prioritize around what your roster actually needs:

  • Need an Electric main DPS / want to try Armorer: prioritize Claret

  • Need a Stun unit / want flexible support: prioritize Roxy

  • Already have strong DPS but lack utility: Roxy is generally the safer unit to watch

  • Need Nangong Yu or Promeia for an existing team: consider the reruns as needed

  • Low on Polychromes: secure key Agents before chasing signature W-Engines

If you are close to pity, first calculate your Agent pity, W-Engine budget, and Phase 1/2 priority. If you plan to top up, compare [ZZZ Top Up] (Zenless Zone Zero Top Up) options in advance and only buy what you actually need, instead of overspending while chasing a signature W-Engine or Mindscape Cinema.

3. Main Story & Version Events

1. Main Story: Season 3 Chapter 3 — “Their Secret Histories”

Their Secret Histories

Version 3.2 shifts the story focus to Flint Workshop.

To continue treating the mutated power within them, the Proxies travel deeper into Vyrium. However, the seemingly impregnable Roscaelifer has already been quietly infiltrated by TOPS.

Meanwhile, a shipment of Porcelloy from Flint Workshop mysteriously disappears at a transfer station, drawing Claret, Roxy, and the Proxies into the investigation.

Following the trail reveals:

Flint Workshop, Porcelloy-related clues, a covert research facility, an old classmate, and a long-lost friend.

This chapter pushes the Roscaelifer storyline forward while expanding Claret and Roxy’s backstories.

2. Limited-Time Events

① Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight!

One of Version 3.2’s flagship events.

Team up with Bangboo to build and challenge a special pinball machine. Alongside Polychromes and upgrade materials, clearing the required Challenge Mode also grants an Angels of Delusion outfit.

Do not miss this event if you want the free outfit and easy rewards.

② Diary of an Orbie Parent

Version 3.2 also adds a relaxed virtual pet-raising event.

This is a lighter daily-style event with Polychromes and progression rewards, ideal for players who want a break from high-pressure combat modes.

③ Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow

The familiar Hobbling Crow Detective Agency returns.

This event focuses on story and detective-style puzzle solving, with plenty of Bangboo flavor and side-story content.

④ Shadow Chase Showdown

A combat-focused limited-time challenge.

Clear the required stages to earn Polychromes, Tuning Calibrators, and upgrade materials among other rewards.

4. Version Rewards, Free Outfits & Special Program Code

1. Login Rewards

Log in during Version 3.2 to receive a total of:

Encrypted Master Tape ×10 + Boopon ×10

That means:10 pulls for the Exclusive Channel + 10 pulls for the Bangboo Channel.

These are different channels, so do not read this as 20 Agent pulls. The confirmed version rewards are 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons.

2. Free Angels of Delusion Outfits

Free Angels of Delusion Outfits

Another highlight of the Special Program is the new Angels of Delusion outfit series.

All three outfits can ultimately be obtained for free through Version 3.2–3.3 events, with no direct purchase required.

Version 3.2 gives access to two of them:

  1. Through the extra 14-day check-in event “Surprise Screening Plan,” complete the required check-ins to choose one Angels of Delusion outfit.

  2. Complete the Challenge Mode of Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight! to claim another outfit from the “Angels Support Operation” page.

  3. The final outfit will be obtainable from a Version 3.3 event.

Important:

You will not get all three in Version 3.2 alone — the full set is spread across Version 3.2 and 3.3 events.

3. Version 3.2 Special Program Redeem Code

Global Code: FLINTWORKS

Expires:August 30, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8)

Rewards:Polychrome ×300, Denny ×30,000, Senior Investigator Log ×2, and W-Engine Energy Module ×3.

Redeem it before expiry — Special Program codes are only available for a limited time.

Summary | Who Should You Pull in Version 3.2?

Version 3.2 is especially important for combat because it introduces the new Armorer Specialty.

Claret Flint brings a new DPS formula — DEF scaling, multi-CRIT, Gash, and Maim — making her a strong pick if you want the new archetype, need an Electric main DPS, or simply like Claret.

Roxy Ifrita Pryce is a more flexible Stun unit with Wind, grouping, Daze, and team utility. If your account already has strong DPS but lacks a premium Stunner, she may offer more overall value.

For F2P and low-spend players, do not try to collect everything. Prioritize the biggest gap in your roster.

If you need extra Monochrome or an Inter-Knot Membership, you can also check Keygold top-up options for a convenient Zenless Zone Zero top up and plan your budget before upcoming banners.

FAQ

Q1: Does Claret scale with DEF or ATK?

A: Her core scaling is DEF.

The Special Program confirms that Claret’s skills use DEF as their base DMG multiplier, so her build differs from standard ATK-scaling DPS units.

Prioritize:

DEF, CRIT Rate, and CRIT DMG.

She also uses the multi-CRIT mechanic, so CRIT Rate above 100% can still provide value.

Q2: Are all three Angels of Delusion outfits free?

A: Yes, all three are free, but not all of them are obtainable in Version 3.2.

Two come from Version 3.2 events, while the final one arrives through Version 3.3 event content.

Complete the related events across both versions to collect the full set.

Q3: Is Roxy only for Claret teams?

A: No.

Roxy is a Wind Stun Agent who can build Daze quickly, group enemies, and support Stun windows, so she is not locked to Claret teams.

That said, Claret and Roxy launch together and naturally synergize well, making them a strong pairing to watch.

If you can only pull one, wait for release-day testing and choose based on your roster needs.
