1. Performance Optimization: The Illusion of Steel

You might notice dozens of swords surrounding Ye Shunguang—the ones she stands on, the ones following her, and the ones that appear during her Defensive Assist.

  • The Secret: To ensure smooth performance and high frame rates during intense combat, these are not full 3D models.
  • Instead, they are high-quality VFX (Visual Effects). This clever optimization allows the game to render a "forest of blades" without taxing your hardware.

2. The Duality of a Void Hunter: Facial Expressions vs. Posture

Ye Shunguang’s personality shift during her transformation is subtle yet striking.

  • The Expression: As she enters Sword Stance, her expression shifts from her usual lively self to a cold, scornful gaze.

  • The Contrast: Interestingly, in the final frames of her transformation, her leg positioning shifts from a sharp, combat-ready stance to a more "maidenly" or "pigeon-toed" posture. It’s a unique blend of a lethal warrior and a refined young lady.

3. Hidden Talismans and Manual Artistry

In the second phase of her Ultimate, there is a blink-and-you-miss-it gesture where she moves her hand near her eyes.

  • The Easter Egg: If you slow it down, she is actually holding a translucent talisman (identical to the ones used by Yi Xuan) between her index and middle fingers.

  • The Inverted Mountain: During the scene featuring the inverted mountain, the swords seen protruding from the landscape weren't just randomly generated. The dev team manually placed each sword VFX one by one to ensure the composition was artistically perfect.

4. Cinematography and "Eye-Care" Processing

The camera work during her Ultimate is exceptionally deliberate.

  • Natural Flow: Since she is right-handed, her slashes move from the bottom-left to the top-right, following a natural physiological arc that feels satisfying to the eye.
  • Layered Impact: The Sword Aura isn't just a flat flash; it’s rendered in layers that "push" toward the player, creating a sense of depth and ripples.

  • Illustration Style: To prevent "visual fatigue" from the intense flashes of lightning and clouds, several frames use "Eye-Care" processing. These specific frames lean toward a 2D digital illustration style, softening the light to keep the experience comfortable for your eyes.

5. The Final Dismissal: Teleportation Details

Even after the massive explosion of energy, the character work continues.

  • As Ye Shunguang teleports (blinks) after landing, she doesn't swing her sword.
  • Instead, her left hand continues to flick/wave, a gesture of pure disdain and nonchalance toward the enemies she has just decimated. It’s the ultimate "cool down" for a Void Hunter.
