Putting together lore from in-game texts like Moonlit Bamboo Forest and Hidden Jade Spring, we can piece together Zibai’s backstory: During the Archon War, she took the form of a white horse to help Zhongli gain control of Liyue. Later, she went into seclusion – and Istaroth even gave her the ability to “see across the endless time wilderness.” Connecting this to the recently finished V6.2, fans are theorizing: “Zibai might be Istaroth’s ‘Time Messenger’ in Teyvat! Her arrival could uncover the Three Moon Sisters’ past… maybe even solve the 6,000-year time mystery linked to Columbina!”​

With Zibai being Geo and her ties to the Moon Crystal mechanic, players are also eager to see how she’ll bring new Moon-based reactions to combat.

Illuga: The New Geo Support

While 4-star Geo character Illuga doesn’t have the same lore hype as the Cryo Archon or Zibai, his unique kit and personality have still won over many fans.​

As the leader of the LightKeepers from Pyramid City, Illuga has that classic “gentle outside, strong inside” charm: he’s kind and takes great care of his teammates, but he refuses to back down from fighting the “Wild Hunt” – vowing to protect the present at all costs.​

His leaked abilities have fans excited too: His Elemental Burst boosts Geo damage for the team and works with Geo constructs + Moon Crystal Reactions, while his Elemental Skill raises the team’s Geo CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG.

Fans are already calling him the “new must-have Geo support” – and saying he’ll totally change how we build Geo teams.​
