Version 7.1 continues the Snezhnaya arc with three Archon Quests. The key visual brings Ronova, "The Jester" Pierro, Rhinedottir and Dainsleif together with forces tied to the Tsaritsa, making it one of the most lore-heavy updates in years.

Vesna, Vodyanitsa or Skirk: Who Should You Pull?
- Vesna is an on-field Anemo DPS built around Stellar Swirl. Pull her if you want a new main carry and plan to build the team around her. See our Stellar Swirl team guide.
- Vodyanitsa is a Hydro healer and support. She's the safer long-term pick if your account lacks sustain, since supports stay useful across many teams.
- Skirk and Escoffier return in Phase 2. If you already invest in Cryo, saving for the rerun may give you more value than a new Anemo carry.
Decide which team you're building first, then pick the character. Don't split Primogems across both phases hoping for luck.
For F2P and low spenders, C0 characters and a complete team beat chasing Constellations or signature weapons. If you do plan to spend, check Genshin Impact top up prices before the banner you want goes live, so you're not topping up in a hurry at 80 pity.

Story, Bosses and Events
Archon Quest and Ronova
Three Archon Quests push the Snezhnaya story forward, culminating in a confrontation with Ronova, the Ruler of Death, who then becomes the new weekly boss. With Pierro, Rhinedottir and Dainsleif involved, threads around the Fatui, Khaenri'ah, the Abyss and the Four Shades finally start to converge.
New world boss
Guardian Blade of Drifting Snow drops Vesna's ascension materials. Start farming it early if you're pulling for her.
